Swim meet Thursday, June 3rd at Woodland Brook Pool

We are so excited to get our first swim meet of the season started tomorrow night!

We know that several of you have asked some questions that we don't have all of the answers to just yet and we apologize. This season has looked very different and we appreciate all of your patience!

We do have your Spirit Wear T shirts available for you to pick up tomorrow morning during practice.  The swim caps have not been delivered yet, but we hope to have them before our swim meet.  We do currently have 17 new ones that we can pass out tomorrow morning.  We are asking that if you have a cap from the past, please use that one and allow us to give the ones we have now to the kids that do not have one at all.  Again, we should have them before the swim meet just not tomorrow morning.

Please plan on being at the pool at 4:45pm so that we can start warm ups at 5pm. Swim meet will start by 6pm.  Don't forget that our theme is Hawaiian/neon.  Heat sheets will be available for $1.

Tiffany Harper will be set up by the Concession stand with the list of volunteers.  Please make sure you check in with her and get your lanyard.  Please return your lanyard to that same station at the end of your shift.

The bullpen will be located in the VISITOR section of the pool.  Please make sure that your child is set up and ready to go on the opposite side of the "home" section by 5pm.  We are asking that all swimmers stay in that bullpen area during the swim meet since it will be moving faster than normal with the opposing team not being present at our pool.

Concession stand will be OPEN for business!!!  Please help us keep our team running and upgrade our equipment by supporting us thru the Concession stand. We will have several options available for dinner, snacks, and drinks.

Parents are asked to only sit on the Home side of the pool and outside of the pool.  Please leave the "bullpen" area for our swimmers and coaches only.  We ask that you follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and masks.

Parking rules will be the same as last season.  Please only park in designated parking spots.  When the parking lot is full, please park on one side of the street and abide by the "no parking" signs.

We are thrilled to be working with the Woodland Brook HOA this season to ensure everyone's safety and a fun season!  We can't thank them enough for the opportunity to get our swimmers back in the water!  In order to stay compliant with our agreement with the HOA, please stay off the tennis courts at all times during practices and meets (unless you are a neighborhood resident).  Please do not congregate in the bathroom or around the pool area.  Pick up your trash as you are leaving at the end of the meet to help everyone out and keep the pool area clean and safe.

This first meet will be exciting for everyone!  We can't wait to all get back together with our swim family!

As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns during the meet. I will be available to help out so that the coaches can focus on the swimmers.

Thank you for all of your support and help! We could NOT do it without you, the parents!

    Go Blazers!
